It’s no secret that I’ve been a longtime fan girl of the iconic Manolo Blahnik brand. When I think of Manolo Blahnik, of course, both fictional Carrie Bradshaw and real-life Sarah Jessica Parker come to mind. Manolos’ covet an inevitable sense of chic to your style.

So what do you do when you find a pair of Manolos on sale? (Something which, for the record, does not happen often.) You can bet I will tell you with all the confidence in the world to just buy them. I scored mine for 40% at Saks by consistently price-watching. For my first pair, I went with a pop of color because when you’re buying luxury shoes, you can’t play it safe. The pink ‘Maysale Buckle Suede Mules‘ (on sale now!) are the most adorable shoes I own. When it comes to shoes, if it’s something like a versatile pair such as these, you could feasibly wear it often, which can’t be said for many fashion items.

I’m sure you’re curious to know the real too, right? In my opinion, these shoes run extremely small. I sized up a whole 2 sizes for just the right fit. But it was worth it! I wear a size 10 in all shoes, with these I went to a US 12 or 42 EU. I know, crazy right. However, I refused to wear my dream shoes and feel uncomfortable. Manolos’ are investment shoes, so purchasing the correct size is important. Aside from sizing, while they aren’t the most comfortable heels I own, they are easy to walk in thanks to the short kitten heel.
