Continuing my coat obsession for this season I thought I’d share with you guys my latest purchase: The Puffer Coat. You know how you have that one secret weapon item in your closet? Well this coat is just that. It’s a head turner that is incredibly chic. The soft velvet material and extra puffy sleeves add a level of warmth and comfort that I love. For a tall girl like myself, I appreciate that the arms run a little longer. While this may not be the most practical everyday coat, it’s definitely that winter statement item you need. I paired my leopard puffer coat (on sale!) with this neon trimmed tank (on sale!) as a pop of color and my favorite distressed jeans from Free People.

It’s a good thing puffer coats (like this one) are so en vogue right now! It’s the perfect marriage of fashion and comfort. I was able to throw this coat over everything and still feel cozy and chic!

This trend has been all over the streets and I totally love it. Five years ago, a puffer coat was a complete fashion ‘no,’ so it just goes to show you that you should never say never!
