There are girls who wear polka dots, and then there are girls who dislike this print profoundly. If you’ve followed my blog for a while, you’d know I’m the girl that ‘loves’ polka dot everything, big and small (see posts here and here). Some may call it a trend but I have reason to believe polka dots are a closet classic. The KEY to nailing a polka dot look is to take them from their ‘retro’ setting and style it in today’s fashion, adding classic accessories and feminine details for an effortless look. Polka dots are a great pattern because you can wear them as a base for bold colors or even other patterns.

For this look, I styled my midi polka dot dress from @FlyBehavior with a black strappy heel from Zara (similar here). A classic black heel is the ultimate wardrobe must-have in my opinion. I searched for quite sometime before finding the perfect strappy heel that was both comfortable and affordable. This dress surprisingly looks good with sandals and block heels, making it much easier to style. Either way you wear it, you will definitely have people asking where you got your dress!
