When it’s golden hour in Orlando, you drop everything and take a photo. As you can probably guess, Florida is one of my favorite places to vacation. In Michigan, summers can feel pretty short compared to winters. While this trip was short lived, I took full advantage of the 80+ degree weather. This was my first time in Orlando and like any city in Florida the people were beautiful and the food was delicious. I tried a restaurant near the park called Miller’s Ale House which was perfect bar food for the night.
We explored the city and toured the Orlando Eye which is a fairly new attraction. It opened in 2015 and its perfect for viewing the entire city way up. Psst, Florida residents receive a discount ($18) and if you’re a tourist book online for savings too. Next up, cocktails! Whenever I’m in a city that has a Sugar Factory I’m there! The drinks are so fun and delicious. If you haven’t tried their cocktails, you’re missing out.
Lately, I’ve been piecing together my spring/summer wardrobe and I must say I’m finding some great neutrals, statement pieces and deliciously comfortable shoes. Can you tell I can’t wait for summer already? I just crave the sunshine; it puts me in a productive mood.
Why oh why has it taken me so long to get into mules? Who knew they were so comfy and easy to walk in. A one and done type of outfit is just my style. I’m loving all crisp neutral looks for the spring. And that’s it! Back to Michigan I go. See you soon Florida, xx.
